Q: How did you get your name?
A: Well, I kinda made it up. I saw some guy somewhere a long time ago, whose nickname was Two-fisted-death, and i thought that was kinda cool. So when i played starcraft on Bnet with my friend for the first time, i just misspelled it to make it fit, then when i made Tofy on aod, i made it a little more concise and more misspelled. :)
Q: How old are you?
A: This char is 2 weeks 14 hours and 41 minutes old, but he’s been in existence on aod for about 3 years, and irl im 18
Q: What level are you?
A: 250, caught between apprentice and actual useful wizness for a year. :)

Q: How would you describe yourself?
A: Well, I come from a clan of ducks that trains all their young how to be fearsome and stealthy ninjas. But im also a very friendly guy when im not ninja-ing something.
Q: Where do you live?
A: I grew up in Dallas, Texas, but now I attend a Dojo for more advanced ninja studies in Newton Kansas
Q: How long have you been logging on to AoD?
A: About 3 years and 3 months i believe,
Q: How did you first get in contact with Ages of Despair?
A: I had played baldurs gate or nightwind dale or something on my friends computer, and it got me interested in D&D again, so i looked online to see if they had any online D&D stuff, and mudding came up. So i wandered around through a few muds, and a couple days later i found aod, and haven’t left since.
Q: Do you regularly play or wiz on any other MUDs?
A: I don’t wiz any other muds, the only mud other than AoD that I’ve been able to stand for more than a few days was As the Wheel Weaves, but i stopped that after a few months as well.
Q: Are you a normal mudder or do you seldom log on?
A: Heh, i used to be on all the time, which was really bad as i had dial-up at the time, but as school got to be more important what with graduation i phased it out. Its only now making a recovery.
Q: Have you met any fellow mudders in RL?
A: The only mudder I've met irl that i didn’t actually introduce to aod was Troela, but i found out this one guy went to the same elementary school that i did only a couple years behind.
Q: What was your first kill and if you ever died, what was the first thing that killed you?
A: Laf, well, prolly something from the rondaran heights, its been so long since Tofs been mortal i don’t remember if he’s been killed.
A: my finger info says small snake, lets use that :)
Q: Did you ever get killed by a ("the") horrible creature?
A: Not with Tofy. I learned my lesson.
Q: Who is your favourite and most hated npc respectively?
A: My favorite would have to be Indilf, the village idiot. My least favorite is Jaecla, cause she so stupid she’s impressed by 0 gold.
Q: What is the funniest/strangest thing that ever happened to you on AoD?
A: I’d have to say that was with a cleric character that i had once. He was like, level 35 or something, and had holy word trained to 25. And i decided id suicide him cause i had too many chars. So before i went i wanted to attack Morchan since id never done that. So i go into the dk guildhall, and type hw “morchan”, and wonder of wonders, the spell actually finishes casting, since so far it’d only worked like twice out of 15 times for me. And i didn't die, i was like, "wtf" then all of a sudden it says "Morchan recovers from the stun" and i got creamed. So the funniest thing was when i stunned one of the biggest guys in the game with a really weak spell. :)
Q: Do you have any piece of equipment you just can't live without?
A: That would definitely have to be my set of ninja gear, my Katana and headband.
Q: Do you have a "special place" where you like to hang out, a private corner so to speak?
A: Sometimes i wander around in my unfinished areas, but mostly i just hang in the main room or my workroom.
Q: How much of your time on AOD do you spend hanging out or chatting compared with exping or coding?
A: Well, for both coding and exping, it used to be more code/exp than chat, but its been drifting the other way for so long i don’t really ever do either anymore, but I’m trying to get back into the groove
Q: What is the best thing about Ages of Despair?
A: Definitely the people and the helpful atmosphere. When i first logged on, i was really not understanding, so i asked and then people started helping me, one of whom was Nemmie. It took me a few days before i realized exactly what her position was, and i was really impressed that someone so high up would care about a newbie, and that’s why I’ve hung around so long.
Q: What is the worst thing about Ages of Despair?
A: Probably a lot of the mistrust that goes on between players and wizzes, and all the politics
Q: Do you have any driving ambitions on AOD? Is there anything that you want to achieve or perhaps something that you have already achieved?
A: When i first became a wiz on the jobs board Ordred proposed and planned an area that he didn’t have time for, especially since it was very complex. I told him that i was interested in it and said sure, if i felt i could do it. I never started on it since it was way above me at the time, but i think with some help from Fille i could finish it for Ordred. Kinda a tribute.
Q: Is there any advice you would like to give to new players or wizzes that have just entered our world?
A: For players id say don't be afraid to ask questions and read the help files. For wizzes, don’t get in the habit of not coding, if you stop, its hard to get back into it, and you stop understanding even things you made yourself.
A: I know from experience :)
Q: Were you ever convicted of a crime?
A: Who told you that !!?
A: Just kidding, not as far as i know :)
Q: How many friends/family play?
A: Woo, thats a tough one, because i started a bunch of people at my school and from camp on aod, and im not sure how many of them still play, or who they have started that i know. Id say probably 8 that play regularly, at least 10 more that have played before
Q: Favourite quote?
A: Definitely the plan from Mayphigor and my plans, although he isn’t here anymore, so his chapter is gone

A: Wihl and i were talking on the wiz channel about Japanese, and how he used to know it, but could no longer understand his Japanese porno’s. So i asked if their porno’s had the same cheesy music as ours, and Pyrdicione said "Id sing it, but i cant type that kinda stuff. well i typed wiz ;sing bow chicka bow wowwww . And they all were like, niiiice, and Pyr says, wow your like a god. And then Zaknafein Player announces "Hear ye Hear ye. Tofystedeth shall now be known as Tofystedeth: Duck God of Textual Porn Noize. And it kinda stuck.

A: Ya, why after all his talk about really wanting to be level 80 for titleage, did it take him months before he ever made his own title.
